Guest review: Aubrey Organics Cleansing Lotion

♥Guest Post♥ This is a guest review from Crystal of Watermoolen on Aubrey Organics Vegecol Facial Cleansing Lotion.

I had to travel a bit farther to obtain this cleanser because it is not sold in my local drugstores or nearby areas. Aubrey Organics is an animal-friendly and vegan company in which they provide natural and/or organic ingredients in their beauty products. Depending on what skin type you have, Aubrey Organics has products to target that. After my good experience with the calendula cream by California Baby, I wanted to find a similar effect from a natural, organic cleanser, too. After traveling to my local Whole Foods supermarket, I finally found the cleanser I was looking for.

Is your liver causing your skin problems?

While I’ve identified a poor digestive system as one of my main skin nemeses, an organ that I need to pay greater attention to is actually my liver. It always been flagged out as a key indicator of concern whenever I consult TCM practitioners; nothing too serious but it’s been weakened and that has caused some skin issues for me particularly in recent years such as a duller skin tone, itchy skin, red spots and acne. The detox that I did helped improved my condition but I definitely need to do more to strengthen this organ.

Promos on beauty services: is there a catch?

My colleague just told me how she ended up paying S$2196 for getting her hair cut. Well, okay, the price for the haircut was $196 but she was sold a package which was priced at $2k, definitely not something she intended to fork out initially. The story goes like this: she saw an advertisement from a reputable hair salon promoting their haircut at a 50% discount. She decided to try them out because the owner used to be the personal hairstylist for some famous celebrity. The haircut turned out pretty normal and definitely nothing to rave about. Yet, she ended up paying a lot more just to enjoy 50% off his service!

Get ogrerized with Shrek Tacular nails

I’ve been officially ogrerized! But yet, I cannot be considered an ogress because a true green ogress is all brilliant green. I only have my fingers, or more precisely, my fingernails, to qualify.

The fashion bag speaks: I’m picture perfect

Hi. I don’t have a proper name but my owner calls me her Desigual art tote bag. It’s quite a mouthful but what does it matter? Nobody calls me anyway. Here, I am sitting nicely on a bench inscribed with Chinese callligraphy. What do the words say? Oh, I can’t tell you; I don’t read anything that isn’t in Spanish even though I look Japanese. Too bad!
