Saturday ramblings, quiz & giveaway reminder

Hello VivaBellas! It’s TGIS and it’s a break for me as I usually don’t write long entries on Saturdays. Speaking of entries, people I meet usually ask me how I manage to produce articles on a daily basis. Well, it’s because I think about beauty every minute of the day! And this is how I get inspiration from stories I read, people I speak to and things that catch my eye. Actually, I don’t consider myself to be very prolific, compared to some of the other beauty bloggers who can churn out a few entries on a daily basis; one per day is about the maximum for me. Plus, I sometimes find it such a waste that entries I wrote yesterday get buried so quickly as the second post the next day. I sometimes even get upset that articles I really love go into the second page of this blog after just 5 days!

So here’s sharing with you a quiz from Total Beauty about post summer skin repair. We don’t have four seasons in Singapore but this is relevant for us since it’s really more like summer all year round although the weather has been freakish of late. Interested to find out? Just take the quiz.

And if you haven’t entered in the August VivaBella Giveaway, you still have the last four days to do so!

I always find it interesting when my friends and family sunbathe during the summer, then go out and spend a significant amount of money on skin care products to take away wrinkles and uneven skin! To me this doesn’t make sense at all. I don’t think they understand how bad sunbathing is for their skin, even with all the media about skin cancer.

I guess a lot of pple just think about having the fun or thrill at that moment but not thinking much of the consequences. Plus, I’m guessing that you may not have sun all year round so to a lot of pple, they could be thinking that tanning just one season shouldn’t be so bad. But you’re right – doesn’t make sense if they’re worried about wrinkles.
