Share: how regularly do you exercise?

Besides keeping us fit and our body toned, exercising regularly is actually important for our skin as it increases blood circulation and delivers skin-building nutrients and oxygen supplies to the epidermis. This is why our skin glow and look radiant immediately after some form of activities. Apart from that, regular exercising can help us to fight stress, sleep better and lift up our mood. A number of you also tell me that exercising helps keep your PMS at bay.

Six things to know about our Asian skin

Since my last entry about Asian skin being less prone to getting sunburn, I’ve found more information about Asian skin type that might interest some of you. Keen to find out? Here goes:

1. Asian skin is more prone to sensitivity
Our skin is said to be prone to irritation as we have a thinner stratum corneum or the outermost layer of skin, compared to other ethnic groups. As a result, our skin becomes extremely sensitive to environmental factors and chemicals, which can disrupt the skin’s pH balance (source: Dr Anthony Rawlings).

Review: 100% Pure shower gel and hand cream

A number of you have been telling me about 100% Pure and thanks to a recent 20% sale at Bud Cosmetics over at the OG department store, I finally got my hands on their products. Guest Review: Evolution of Smooth Lip Balm

♥Guest Post♥ This is a guest review from Crystal of Watermoolen on an interesting, candy-like organic lip balm.

Evolution of Smooth (EOS) products are known for their 95% organic lip balms. Due to their success and increased press this past year, the company has now expanded their product line into lotions and shaving creams (though these are not claimed to be 95% organic). The lip balms are fantastic as they come in cute packaging, especially the EOS Lip Balm (Smooth Sphere), which looks like a little candy ball you get from a vending machine. If you want a more adult look, they sell the the lip balms in tube kinds as well. The Smooth Sphere lip balms come in five natural flavors, and the one I chose to use was the “honeysuckle honeydew.”
