I don’t know about others but I hated to shower as a kid. My mom would have to scream at me to get me bathing. Every. Single. Day. Of course I grew up and realized that personal hygiene is important if I wanted to expand my social circle and not have people pinch their nose when they speak to me. Slowly, I adjusted to the cruel fact that I need to shower twice a day to keep myself presentable and over these past few years, I took more pains to “perfect” my showering routine so that I can both optimize my time and beauty. So how do I optimize my shower time? Here are my 10 tips:

DIY Beauty: simple homemade makeup remover

I normally use a cream cleanser to remove my makeup and recently, wanted to try a homemade recipe as a substitute. I don’t use thick makeup and usually, it’s only foundation, eyeshadow and lipstick. This recipe probably won’t work for those using waterproof mascara but for my purpose, I’m pleased to say, it works! And it’s so simple to concoct for I only used three items from my fridge!

Share: do you wear perfume regularly?

I used to buy perfumes quite frequently but not for myself though. They were pressies for my mom who loves wearing them all the time. So I grew up sniffing lots of perfume and strange enough, I don’t like wearing them. I do get perfume oils and fragrance balms for the sake of novelty but I hardly use them unless I smell really bad for no good reasons. HA.

Pretty feminine in pink: Principessa Beauty

Some time end of last year, Liang Shing of i-lovemylife.com contacted me and asked if I was interested to review some products from Principessa Beauty because she was planning to bring in to her organic online store. I’ve seen this brand around in Sephora with their pretty pink packaging but was under the impression that they’re mostly makeup. But I later found out that Principessa Beauty carries mostly bath and body items, hair products, lip balms and lip glosses plus fragrances that smell delicious. I was given three of their best sellers to try out and here’s my thoughts on them.
