Crabtree & Evelyn has just launched their new floral fragrance collection. On top of the Iris collection which I covered last September, the other fragrances are Lily, Lavender and Rosewater. And apart from Eau de Toilette you see here, body care and home fragrance products are also available.
A friend asked me why her skin feels a lot drier and tighter by evening and what she can do to overcome the problem – short of washing her face and re-moisturizing all over again. Coincidentally, this friend also has combination skin like me – dry cheeks with oilier t-zone. I have encountered this problem myself and these are some of the reasons I told her that could be causing the issue.
So here’s Renee and Mag with me at Sephora on Tuesday morning, being dolled up and waiting to have our photos taken for the Urban feature. I actually wanted to take some behind the scenes shots but ended up too engrossed in conversations with the makeup artist and hair stylist and later on, being too shy to pose for pictures. Anyway, the clothes I wore were prepared by Urban. I have no idea what sort of look I took on, but if I added a headband and a cigarette holder, I could possibly pass off as a flapper. Heh.
Okay now everyone, pinch your nose and read this if you have back acne! I’ve got a simple remedy for you to use at home that works but is totally unpleasant for the nose. Well, unless of course you’re a great fan of vinegar!
Have you seen the sample bottles of Nature’s Gate Organics haircare range sold at Guardian Pharmacy? They look really cute! Two of them are going for S$4.90 and it was a good size for testing. I picked up the volumizing shampoo and conditioner for fine hair as I recalled some readers left me positive feedback about them. The shampoo lasted me almost two weeks, with daily washes and two washes each time. The conditioner is probably able to last me over a month since I use very little of it each time.
