I just want to ask, how do you exactly apply the sunblock or sunscreen? Usually I will only apply a day moisturizer that comes with spf 15, but i decided to layer on another sunblock of spf 20 as I’ll be under the sun until 11am.
The problem is, my skin feels suffocated and oily when I layer on the sunblock, my skin just doesn’t absorb the sunblock at all. Why is this so? Is it because its incompatible with my moisturizer? The sunblock is waterproof and my moistuizer, I don’t know, I guess its water-based.
I always apply over a layer of oil but I have also used it with a moisturizer.
If your sunscreen is waterproof, then chances are, it could be quite heavy. In the past when I used other sunscreens/sunblock other than the MVO one I now use, I just apply the sunscreen/sunblock and use no moisturizer at all. The sun product can double up as a moisturizer too.

Hello, wanted to inquire about MVO Lightening Serum. I have delicate mature skin with some discoloration spots from unprotected sun exposure. I don’t really want to use a Retinol product and never have. Will this help fade the spots gradually?
It does for the smaller spots but I found it worked better when used in conjunction with their Vitamin C Supplement, which is to be mixed in with the serum. However, the mixture can be a little powdery and I found it difficult to apply at first till I learnt that it’s best to pat on. I use this about twice a week and have found my skin tone improving.
