Spare your hands with natural makeup remover?

These Calyspo natural makeup remover I spotted at Carrefour piqued my interest and I stopped to check them out. They reminded me of another product I tried and so I was curious if these are in the same category. I didn’t buy them but from what I can see, they look like sponges to me and I had thought they were designed to be able to remove makeup on their own without any additional cleanser. I later found out that they’re just sponges, to be used with your normal cleanser for taking off your makeup. Oh well, you can’t fault me for having that misconception as they called natural makeup remover right?

While I like the taste of lemongrass in my food but today, I’m sharing what you can do with this herb for beauty.

Oily hair shampoo can make your hair oilier

I’ve been spending more time on hair care these days and recently, I experimented by switching from my usual staple of oily and volumizing shampoos to one that is for normal hair and was happy that it worked well for me. I have a very oily scalp since I was a teen and I’ve always presumed that I need specific shampoos to address that problem. However, it seems that a shampoo for oily hair can be too aggressive and counterproductive.

Share: which SPF number is good enough for you?

Okay, most of us know that sunscreen isn’t just about SPF but face it, how many of us buy sunscreen based on a comfortable SPF number? Well, I do although I do look out for the active ingredients and my favorite is one with 18 to 20% zinc oxide only as that means the product offers broad spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. If you like chemical sunscreens, then Mexoryl or Tinosorb are what you should be looking out for in the product as they are considered as photostable sun filters.
