YADAH: natural and gentle skincare from Korea

Okay, I fall for cute packaging! YES I DO! While I may not necessarily purchase them, but I will always gravitate towards them and at least check them out just because they look pretty. But I don’t believe I’m alone in this. I bet some of you are already clicking through the link to check out this new Korean skin care brand that is featured here. YADAH! That’s the name of the range and the packaging is enticing!

Formulated to be suitable for all skin types
This range is actually designed for teenagers and young adults but because the formulation is said to be gentle, they are therefore suitable for all most skin types and even those with sensitive or troubled skin. YADAH is certified by Korea Food and Drug Administrations and while not completely natural, the products are stated to be 100% free from artificial coloring, mineral oils, sulphates & animal extracts. Their cleansers, toners and emulsions are also free from parabens based on the website’s description. I’ve seen some of their ingredient lists and they include natural plant extracts like essential oils, floral water, plant oils, barks, and traditional herbs with lesser chemical based synthetic ingredients. Some of the products are even indicated as using 99.9% pure vegetable natural materials, with selected ECOCERT authenticated ingredients chocked full of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Wide range of products at affordable pricing
Apparently, YADAH Skincare range are very popular in Japan and Korea, and are being sold in various departmental stores and cosmetic retail chains in both countries. The range comprises as many as 20 products, ranging from cleansers, toners, moisturizers, masks, sun cream, BB cream, makeup, body, and hair products. Prices are very affordable, from as low as S$9.90 to the highest at S$26.90. So all in all, they are very appealing to those who do not wish to spend too much on beauty products. And do check out the cosmetic pouches, available in three different cute designs at S$21.90 each!

Based in Singapore but ships internationally
Personally, I am actually keen to try some of the products such as the cleansers but because I wanted a more objective review, someone else will be testing some of the products and providing a review on Viva Woman in the weeks to come. So do keep an eye for that! Meanwhile, go check out the YADAH range of natural skin care from Korea online (click through). By the way, the distributor of this range of products also operates Beauty Finest, whom I’ve been working with since last year. So yes, the webstore is based out of Singapore but ships internationally. I was also informed that the range will be made available in major Sasa stores beginning next week.

this is interesting! Too bad they don’t list the full ingredient list. Would be very useful for paranoid people like me. Would definitely try this out soon!

  2. Germaine says:

The packaging is indeed eye-catching. afte reading it, I was abit tempted to try them out already.. ? but I think I will still wait for your review. ?

  3. Miss Vinny says:

If they really want to be serious in selling this brand, then they might want to list out all the ingredients. It’s already a common practise by most natural/organic brands and even other non-natural/organic brands. As it is, I feel I can’t take their claims seriously. I don’t think they’re hiding anything, just a bit of negligence.

  4. EcoBeauty says:

Same here.. the packaging is really cute and the cheap prices are really tempting. But I would want to see their full list of ingredients before giving it a try. ?

  5. sesame says:

Maybe you can write in to ask…I’m sure she’ll provide.

  6. sesame says:

Okay, someone else will be reviewing so wait out a bit k?

  7. sesame says:

I have told the distributor about this about the other webstore because I know most of my readers would prefer to read the ingredients. But I think she is willing to email when asked.

  8. sesame says:

I’ll let the distributor know and see if she’s keen to add.

  9. sesame says:

Okay, the distributor just confirmed that she will try to upload the ingredient on her webstore soon.

  10. Miss Vinny says:

Well, can be text or picture version… I wouldn’t mind. ? So glad she’s willing to give it a shot.

Btw, looks like this range will have to be used with sunscreen since they seem to use citrus kind of ingredients?

  11. sesame says:

I suppose you have to use a sunscreen anyway but depends on how high up are those ingredients too. I believe they’re included to help rid of oiliness and keep skin clean.

  12. Miss Vinny says:

Ahh, I see… I’ll wait for the reviews first. ?

  13. sesame says:

Anyway, don’t expect Korean natural products to be 100% natural. They will still include chemical synthetics most of the time and fragrance is something they mostly include.

Btw, they’ve uploaded the ingredient lists so you can take a look. The cleansers look pretty decent.

  14. Miss Vinny says:

Huh well, I was just curious about this brand. I already have too many items and I wouldn’t want to buy more. =P Plus, some of their items have certain substances(silicones) I’m sensitive to. And if I remember correctly, South Korea has a relatively dry climate so most skincare ranges are created to restore moisture.

  15. sesame says:

Good point about the climate…I sometimes find that products that are raved so highly in North Asia (even though they’re developed for Asian skin) just don’t work for me. I guess it has to do with the formulation in consideration of the climate too.

  16. Miss Vinny says:

Well, same here… some of those samples actually backfired and gave me too many pimples. Me: :O

So I’ll be a good girl and wait for the reviews. :3 I guess such products can be good for those with dry skin or skin that’s not too oily.

  17. Pauline says:

Probably safest to try out will be mask n toner!

  18. sesame says:

I hope you’ll like whatever you get to try.

  19. claire says:

I was going to. but it’s up on the website already. Not so keen about it now as it contains alcohol and then the anti trouble contains EDTA and TEA. :/ none for me now I guess.

  20. N. says:

So cute I definetly am going to try.

  21. sesame says:

Hope you’ll find something that’ll work for you.

  22. dom says:

I’m interested in the cleanser – but what really tempted me to want to buy this is the packaging and the name. So cute! Too cute!

  23. sesame says:

    Yes, it’s cute and appealing.;)

  24. Steam Custard says:

I got this from Vanity Trove and was wondering what are the reviews for it! Thanks for your review! #k8SjZc9Dxk_#k8SjZc9Dxk

  25. Ningrum says:

Edgiest. Packaging. Ever! LOL. I love those YADAH characters! SO cute! :))

  26. sesame says:

Look out for a guest review soon…maybe next week. ?

  27. lucia Ha says:

Hi, When I was searching the information for Paul Penders cosmetic, I found your website. Your comment is quite useful for me ? I love your website. But I am Korean. I’ve never seen those cosmetic though. If you want to know what kind of cosmetic Korean womans like, you can ask me through the email. I just don’t want someone to use some korean cosmetic stuff that is not famous in Korea. =) Have a nice day!
