Look More Youthful With Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Skin Care Collection

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Collection
Looking for transformative results from an organic skin care range? Allow me to introduce you to Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle collection. This is off the charts impressive and by far, the best organic skin care solution I’ve ever come across. I would even say that it beats many of the non-organic products in the market.

Before you think I’m just paying lip service just because I’d received some freebies, you may like to know that I’ve never been too excited about Juice Beauty even though the brand and I go back way in 2009 when I first tried their cleansing milk.

While I’d enjoyed using some of their products somewhat, I’ve never been sold into the whole hoopla surrounding the brand even with Gwyneth Paltrow in the picture. In fact, I was rather lukewarm about them because their ingredient lists are rather long and I didn’t find anything exceptional. But who would have expected that five years later, I’m singing a different tune.

Having tried various organic skin care products, I find many of the brands limited. Limited in terms of efficacy. Limited in terms of selection. Limited in terms of appeal. But not Juice Beauty especially now that they’ve introduced their stem cellular collection. Here’s one that exceeds all limitations on all counts. Not only is their innovation promising, the collection is well backed by clinically validated results, and their packaging is impeccable.

Juice Beauty Clinically Validated Results
The Juice Beauty Difference
Okay, before I wax lyrical about the collection, here’s a quick brief about how Juice Beauty is different from other organic brands.

One, their products are formulated with certified organic ingredients. Second, all formulas are made without parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances. Juice Beauty also does not test on animals.

In terms of certification, Juice Beauty meets one of the most rigorous Product Organic Farming standards in the world, including those of COPA & USDA. In addition, many of their products are manufactured using solar power, and they use sustainable and/or recycled paper, soy ink.

Finally, all their formulations do not contain water as a base. In place of water, Juice Beauty’s products contain an organic botanical juice base like apple juice, white grape juice, aloe vera juice and lemon juice.

So now that we’ve established that Juice Beauty is indeed a clean and green brand, let’s look at what’s outstanding about their Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle collection.

Defy Age With Stem Cellular
This is a range that is formulated with advanced high potency ingredients including a blend of Vitamin C and fruit stem cells infused into an organic resveratrol rich grapeseed base for powerful age defying results. Promises include reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to achieve a younger looking and smoother skin.

In just six weeks, the products have proven to perform with these clinically validated results:

  • 100 per cent improved skin hydration
  • 87.5 per cent reported reduction in fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area
  • 87.5 per cent reported improved skin tone and luminosity
  • 75 per cent reported improved elasticity of the skin

Here’s what I received in their Anti-Wrinkle Solutions Kit (cost S$88):

  • Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum .5 fl oz
  • Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer .5 fl oz
  • Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment .25 fl oz
  • Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream Sample

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Booster Serum | 30ml, S$135
Out of the four items, I love this serum most. It is ultra-light in terms of texture, but yet this gel serum is power packed to help boost and enhance skin tone and texture. I can use this both day and night, but I only use this at night before bedtime.

Here’s what it promises:
-prepares the skin to absorb rich antioxidants
-improves the appearance of skin tone and luminosity
-hydrates and moisturizes skin
-provides essential fatty acid emollients and powerful antioxidant action
-creates a visible plumping effect of the skin

I hadn’t thought much when I started using this product but soon, I began to notice that my skin didn’t look half as tired even when I slept late. I don’t have a lot of fine lines and wrinkles to begin with so I can’t say for sure this definitely helps those problems. But I definitely say it delivers most of the promises in terms of hydration, skin tone and luminosity.

The scent of this serum is very mild. You probably can’t smell it until you take a sniff. Even then, the smell is hardly detectable.

Packed in a pump bottle, this product looks premium but the shortfall is that there’s simply no way to tell when the product is depleting.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer | 50ml, S$117
I only used this for a week when I was in Seoul. I brought it along in anticipation of the dryness my skin would suffer because of winter. I found the texture amazing, as in it feels rich but yet applies well on my skin without leaving any greasy or oily residue. Oh, the smell is simply…intoxicating.

The moisturizer in the kit comes in a normal open jar. The 50ml jar however is innovatively designed such that the cream is not exposed.

As I didn’t use it for too long, I can’t chart how well it has actually performed for me. All I will say is it will work well in our weather. You might also like to know that this product has won many positive reviews as it delivers what it promises in these areas:
-Improves the appearance of skin tone and luminosity
-Hydrates and moisturizes skin
-Provides essential fatty acid emollients and powerful antioxidant action

Ingredients: Organic juices of pyrus malus (organic apple juice)*, vitis vinifera (organic white grape juice)*, citrus medica limonum (organic lemon juice)*, aloe barbadensis (organic aloe leaf juice)*, vegetable glycerin, octyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, malus sylvestris (apple buds), vitis vinifera (grape buds) & citrus limonum (lemon bark), organic plant oils of helianthus annuus (organic sunflower seed oil)*, butyrospermum parkii (organic shea butter)*, simmondsia chinensis (organic jojoba seed oil)*, organic essential fatty acids of oenothera biennis (organic evening primrose)*, linum usitatissimum (organic linseed oil)*, borago officinalis (organic borage seed oil)*, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (Vitamin C), xanthan gum, panthenol (Vitamin B5), allantoin, tocopherol (Vitamin E), sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, ethylhexylglycerin, citrus reticulata (mandarin), litsea cubeba (may chang) and cinnamomum camphora (ho wood) pure essential oils

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment and Instant Eye Mask
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Eye Treatment | 14ml, S$81
I have been using this eye product at night and quite like it. It’s an eye cream that is not too rich. It appears to ease off puffiness and fine lines around my eyes but it hasn’t done much for the appearance of dark circles. Still, I am happy to continue using it.

What’s also interesting about this product is the way it is designed to double up as an eye cream applicator–you can literally use it to massage the cream around your eye area (see last picture). I found that a little of a novelty that wears off after awhile. I prefer to apply using my fingertips for better control.

Anyway, here’s what the product promises to do with prolonged usage:
-Delivers rich hydration around the eye area
-Visibly reduces the appearance of under eye dark circles
-Delivers nutrients and vitamins around the eye area

Ingredients: Organic juices of pyrus malus (organic apple juice)*, vitis vinifera (organic white grape juice)*, citrus medica limonum (organic lemon juice)*, aloe barbadensis (organic aloe leaf juice)*, vegetable glycerin, octyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl stearate, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (Vitamin C), stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, malus sylvestris (apple buds), vitis vinifera (grape buds) & citrus limonum (lemon bark), organic plant oils of helianthus annuus (organic sunflower seed oil)*, butyrospermum parkii (organic shea butter)*, simmondsia chinensis (organic jojoba seed oil)*, organic essential fatty acids of oenothera biennis (organic evening primrose oil)*, linum usitatissimum (organic linseed oil)*, borago officinalis (organic borage seed oil)*, xanthan gum, panthenol (Vitamin B5), allantoin, tocopherol (Vitamin E), sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, ethylhexylglycerin, citrus aurantium (orange blossom) pure essential oils

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Instant Eye Lift Algae Mask | S$135
This is not part of the kit but I’m reviewing it here since I’m talking about eye treatments.

The Instant Eye Lift is a two-step process allowing the Stem Cellular Activator Fluid and pure marine algae Eye Mask to perform at the highest level of potency. Antioxidants and nutrients from the algae biomatrix pressed masks are triggered when combined with the Activator Fluid, resulting in reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the eye area refreshed and invigorated.

I haven’t tried this personally but became convinced of its benefits when I saw how it instantly gave eyes a revived and lifted look during a product demo.

Promises include:
-Reduces the appearance of puffiness around eyes
-Hydrates and refreshes
-Encourages supple skin texture

Activator: Juice Beauty proprietary blend of fruit stem cells: apple buds, grape buds & lemon bark. aloe barbadensis (organic aloe juice)*, vegetable glycerin, leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, malus sylvestris (apple buds), vitis vinifera (grape buds) & citrus limonum (lemon bark), xanthan gum, sodium alginate, vitis vinifera (grapeseed extract), sodium hyaluronate (vegetable hyaluronic acid), magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (Vitamin C), organic botanical extracts of cucumis sativus (organic cucumber extract)*, camellia sinensis (organic white tea leaf extract)*, chamomilla recutita (organic chamomile extract)*, lavandula angustifolia (organic lavender extract)*, calendula officinalis (organic marigold flower extract)*, arnica montana (organic arnica flower extract)* *certified organic ingredient Mask: algin, cellulose gum, vegetable glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, citric acid, sorbitol

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream Sample
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream | 50ml, S$99
Formulated with an powerful blend of fruit stem cells, Vitamin C, and arnica infused into a botanical rich formula, the Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream helps to tighten and smoothen the delicate skin around the neck and decollete for a more sculpted and youthful look.

I would love to try the full size bottle sometime. I managed to use the sample a few times and like how it tightens the skin around my neck. The texture is pretty close to the moisturizer but the scent is different and more distinct.

Here’s what it promises to deliver with prolonged usage:
-Provides a lifting effect while reducing the appearance of wrinkles
-Improves appearance of skin texture and suppleness
-Helps provide a more refined, toned definition
-Improves the appearance of skin leaving it looking softer and more supple

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment
Overview and thoughts
If you go over the ingredient lists, you’ll noticed that the products are made with organic ingredients. That means they’re just partially organic. Also, some ingredients are rather potent and may not work for sensitive skin.

However, I’m pretty impressed with the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Collection and am quite sold on them. Why? Well, we are not just talking about a singular product, but a range that actually delivers results. How often do you come across such a scenario where all the products live up to most of their promises?

I’ll say the collection works for most skin types that need help combating aging but if you have sensitive skin, go get samples to try before committing to full sizes.

Obviously, the prices are a bit steep but they’re still competitively priced compared to conventional, non-organic skin care.

Besides the products I’ve reviewed, Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Collection also includes cleansers and a CC Cream. I’ve not tried any of their cleansers but I’m wearing their CC Cream. It’s one of the products that didn’t wow me initially but won me over eventually. Okay, did that just go over your head? Well, just stay tune for my review (soon) and you’ll understand better.

In Singapore, you can find Juice Beauty products including their Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Collection at Bud Cosmetics. Please note that the prices I’ve listed are full sized items. If you’re getting the Anti-Wrinkle Solutions Kit, the sizes are smaller.

And going forward, you can expect more makeup products from the brand now that their creative director, Gwyneth Paltrow, has created their new Phyto-Pigments Makeup Collection. I’m really excited about that range and can’t wait to lay my hands on them…hopefully real soon.

Products highlighted are media samples and this review is in line with my disclosure policy.

  1. Marissa says:

I’m sure these are fine products, but I dislike the use of “stem cell” in the name. I feel like it’s extremely misleading and merely trying to play off of all the hype of stem cell treatments.

  2. Sesame says:

I hear you…I’m sure they’re riding on the hype…but they’re using fruit stem cells so they’re not exactly misleading.

  3. Dawn says:

Hi, how would you compare the range of Juice Beauty to Marie Veronique in terms of results and suitability in our humid weather?

  4. Sesame says:

Both works for me but I have to say that some products under Marie Veronique needs getting used to. Eg. Everyday Coverage (their sunscreen). But their stuff are of good quality. I think Marie Veronique works well to even out pigmented skin. They also have good solutions for acne-prone. Juice Beauty will come across more user friendly in terms of texture and application but I’d say their products are generally better for lifting and removing fine lines.

  5. Oinkee Babe says:

hi! Glad more people are finding out about stem cell treatment and the effects you can achieve on your skin this way, so much better than going under the knife risking permanent damage and huge downtimes.
