Eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder?

Eyebrow Pencil & Eyebrow Powder

Unless you have had eyebrow embroidery, otherwise, you most likely have to shape your eyebrows as part of your makeup application especially if you have sparse skimpy brows.

Eyebrow powder is less time consuming
I’ve always used eyebrow powder. It’s easy to apply, less time consuming and enhances the shape of my eyebrows more naturally since it is softer when applied and blends well with the hair of my eyebrows. I use this palette from The Body Shop I got as a gift and apply the powder with an angle eyebrow brush obtained from Sasa. And it takes me about a minute to shape my eyebrows and the powder stays on the entire day without fading off.

How I deal with my hormonal chin acne

chin acne

Gosh. I have two big red zits on my chin now! I absolutely detest it but it seems there’s nothing I can do to prevent them from popping because these chin pimples are part of my PMS. They even have a name! Hormonal chin pimples or homonal chin acne!

Eyelash perming to enhance your eyes

Eyelash Perming

Want to have a China doll perm or Barbie doll perm?  Not on your hair but on your eyelashes!  It’s one of the amazing things you can do to enhance the look of your eyes with a number of beauty salons offering eyelash perming services these days.  The prices seem reasonable, in the range of S$25 – S$45 depending on where you do it.  I guess for ladies who like to have curled eyelashes everyday without using a  mechanical eyelash curler which is time consuming and can weaken or break the eyelashes,  this sounds really enticing. However, how well does it work and is it safe for everyone since we’re talking about the eyes which is such a delicate organ?

Is it better to wash your face with cold water?

Here are some reasons why people find washing with cold water beneficial:
- it closes pores
- it makes blood vessels constrict
- aid to reduce swelling & appearance of undereye dark circles

However, not everyone agree on using cold water to wash their face.  Here’s why:
- cannot wash away dirt and oil
- can cause broken capillaries
