Untitled 1 Share: how to combat yucky white film on lips?

Hello Vivabellas. I have a lip problem that I hope you can help me with. For quite awhile now, I can’t use lipstick and lip gloss for too long without having a line of white film from the lipstick or lip gloss accumulate on my lips. It is not dry or flaky but just a disgusting looking whitish accumulation that appear on the inside of my lips, the part where my lips are pressed together. This always happen when I’m speaking for awhile in an air conditioned room and it’s darn embarrassing because it’s so unsightly. I always have to rush to the toilet to scratch it off with water and my fingernails!

It’s so wonderful that this is a short work week isn’t it? I’ve been looking forward to this week since Sunday. Heh. Anyway, I’ve been busy recently on a project, which is beauty related. Whilst working on this project, I noticed that smell greatly affects my opinion of a product. And come to think of it now, it’s actually one of the deciding factors for me when it comes to purchasing a product.

I received an interesting question from a reader, Sandy, who wanted to know if we use eye cream as a face cream. Her reasons being that she does not want her eye cream to go to waste her.

Can we use eye cream as a face cream? I recently purchased a set of skin care. I ran out of my moisturizer but I still have half a bottle of eye cream. I don’t want it to go to waste and I don’t like to mix with other skin care products either. Please advise.

Hazel of Hazelnutt House posed a question to her readers recently asking them if they reapply skin care products before bed.  I thought it was very interesting and decided to hijack the topic today. Before reading her entry, I didn’t give much thoughts to the time I apply my skin care products at night. I usually take a bath and apply my skin care products in the evening and just leave it as that. Sometimes, this routine means one hour before bedtime but sometimes, it can be three hours before I actually go off to bed. Either way, rarely do I wash my face again or reapply my skin care products before bedtime.
