Welcome to another beauty lunchbox series and this time, I’m going to show you five brand new lunchbox ideas that are a bit of a splurge, using ingredients that are slightly more expensive. Think of them as lunchbox you can treat yourself to once a week and I guarantee you’ll wish for lunch time to come sooner than later! Now, who said it’s boring to pack your lunch?
I did it! I packed my own lunch to work for a whole month; well actually it’s been more than a month already! And I DID NOT slack! NOT. A. SINGLE. DAY. Hallelujah! In fact, I managed to inspire a few colleagues along the way and they started to pack their own lunches too. It was fun! We shared our food, we exchanged ideas and we became closer in the name of food. HA. More importantly, I noticed that my digestive system is a lot healthier and I am definitely looking a lot better after a month of eating from my own lunchbox. So today, let me share with you 20 yummy and nutritious lunchbox ideas and hopefully, you can be inspired to pack your own lunches to work too.
With the temperature turning up and the air quality becoming worse, I’ve restorted to lunching in on most days. But I got tired of buying my food so this week, I decided to pack my own lunchbox every single day! Besides eating healthier food, I can better protect my skin by staying away from the scorching sun. And it helps that I have good company because a few of my colleagues have the habit of lunching in too.
This was supposed to be my lunchbox but ended up, I’m using it for breakfast instead. Actually, breakfast has become my biggest meal of the day and so I try to eat something more substantial. Instead of the usual bread, I’ve been eating sweet potatoes. Apparently, sweet potatoes have lower carb content compared to the regular potatoes, which means, their glycemic load is lower. In addition, I read that they come with high levels of vitamins A,C, E, fiber and beta-carotene. Hence, sweet potatoes are great to combat free radicals which causes skin aging. Not only that, they’ve great anti-inflammatory nutrients and are good to restore radiance to our skin.
