Okay, here’s the scoop on the latest supplement I’m on. Why, don’t look so surprised now. If you do, it means you’re not a follower of this blog because regulars know how much I love to try supplements as much as trying skincare products. HA. And yes, I know that fresh foods are better but you know what? I can’t get fresh Acai where I am based. So this Madre Labs Simply Acai Organic Powder is to me, a godsend!
Almost every day, I try to eat a slice of pineapple. I love the taste and of course, the high dose of vitamin C in the fruit. But most of all, I’ve found that eating a slice of pineapple daily helps keep my tummy flatter effortlessly. I know some of you are reading this with much skepticism but I’m telling you that it works for me.
I always have a ready supply of bananas at home. My husband eats them. My son too. But I avoid fresh bananas at all costs. I’ll eat them cooked though. Like banana fritters. Those I love! So I figured out that I probably can turn the bananas at home into another snack or something. Why not bake them and have another type of food readily available for breakfast? I mean, bananas are supposedly healthy and they’re said to reduce menstrual cramps because they’re a good source of iron, magnesium and potassium. Not only that, bananas are great skin food too.
Remember I covered 10 things vitamin C can do for your skin awhile back? In that entry, I had looked at most of the benefits from using vitamin C topically. Interestingly, I’ve read that oral consumption of vitamin C does nothing for our skin. However, I found some studies that state otherwise. So I thought I’ll just list them here as food for your consideration.
