Yipee! I’ve got a new pair of eyeglasses and this one comes with photochromic lenses! Okay, did that just pass over your head? (o.O) Sorry lovelies but I am kinda excited because my new glasses filters out the oppressive UV rays. I don’t always wear sunnies and this is just perfect for my needs—not only does it allow me to have clearer vision, it doubles up as an eye shade too! Woo hoo!
This is a handmade crocodile-skin handbag that belonged to my mom. I remember she had this made when I was a lot younger so this bag must have been around for at least 35 years. It’s definitely a vintage now but while I love vintage inspired fashion, I’m not sure I want to carry this around. For one thing, even though croc skin is valuable, it’s not really my kind of thing. But during my mom’s day, such croc-skin handbags are very popular; they were the IT bag of her days.
It’s been a while since I was excited about what I wore and it’s all thanks to this new pair of sneakers—the Puma Future Glyde Lite Lo. I haven’t worn sneakers in years and it’s because they’re so flat and they don’t enhance my height. LOL. However, I changed my mind recently and went sneakers hunting. I picked this pair because it goes with my new Marc by Marc Jacobs Preppy Nylon Isa Backpack. I also had approval from my husband who helped me pick this design. So come with me and check out how it fits with my outfit of the day!
Many people tell me they want to have joy in their lives but it seems to elude them. These people seem to think that joy is something that finds them. But instead of waiting for joy to happen, you can choose to live each day with gladness in your heart. Yes you can! Stop agonizing over what you don’t have and begin to be joyful in what you already have. That’s a start! You certainly don’t need to have a perfect life before you can have joy. And if that’s still too difficult, perhaps you can consider wearing one of these handmade fashion accessories to remind you to choose joy.
After almost six months with us, Gracie has grown. Grown a bit too fat to be carried around for long that is. HA. My hubby has been asking me to get her a doggie carrier for months but I’ve not paid heed because I’d thought it’s okay to carry her around if I need to. But after some encounters when we brought her out, I think he’s right that putting her in a bag makes it easier for us to go to places where dogs may be frowned upon. So I finally succumbed and got her a simple dog carrier from Pet Lovers. Not the best looking I guess but it’s functional for our needs.
