After almost six months with us, Gracie has grown. Grown a bit too fat to be carried around for long that is. HA. My hubby has been asking me to get her a doggie carrier for months but I’ve not paid heed because I’d thought it’s okay to carry her around if I need to. But after some encounters when we brought her out, I think he’s right that putting her in a bag makes it easier for us to go to places where dogs may be frowned upon. So I finally succumbed and got her a simple dog carrier from Pet Lovers. Not the best looking I guess but it’s functional for our needs.
So on Friday night, I headed to Grand Hyatt Singapore for a staycation with the family. It was rather last minute, something I did not plan for as I went on invitation by the hotel. The timing however was perfect because it was the beginning of school holidays for my son and it also happened a week after we had some renovation works at home.
Hey everyone! I’m so happy to introduce you to Gracie, the new regular guest blogger at Viva Woman and I suspect she’s gonna steal some hearts even before she starts her stint. She’s no wordsmith but she’s a pro at posing for photographs so I suspect her strength is really to be a photo blogger. But having said that, I’ll like to qualify that even though she’s of few words, she definitely has a voice even if it’s just to say “WOOF!”
Just before writing this post, I weighed myself—a whopping 51.6kg! That’s an increase of 6kg in a space of a few months! Oh grief! I no longer can slip on my jeans but instead, I have to literally jump into them. And the belt, which I used to put on to tighten the pair of jeans to my waist, is now history. *sigh* I’ve been telling myself that I need to shave some of those kilos off my butt and I need to do so fast but all the time, not controlling what I put in my mouth! So here’s a random post to show you what I’ve been feeding on.
Hello and a blessed 2013 to everyone! How was your Christmas and New Year celebrations? Had too much to eat eh? Ha. So did I. But aside from eating, I did some exercise. I went cycling! Okay, it’s really leisure biking as you can see but I’ve done it a few times now, mostly at night when the sun is down and each time, cycling for about three hours in a stretch. Not bad really, for someone who refuses to move her butt too much.
