Just before writing this post, I weighed myself—a whopping 51.6kg! That’s an increase of 6kg in a space of a few months! Oh grief! I no longer can slip on my jeans but instead, I have to literally jump into them. And the belt, which I used to put on to tighten the pair of jeans to my waist, is now history. *sigh* I’ve been telling myself that I need to shave some of those kilos off my butt and I need to do so fast but all the time, not controlling what I put in my mouth! So here’s a random post to show you what I’ve been feeding on.
Hello and a blessed 2013 to everyone! How was your Christmas and New Year celebrations? Had too much to eat eh? Ha. So did I. But aside from eating, I did some exercise. I went cycling! Okay, it’s really leisure biking as you can see but I’ve done it a few times now, mostly at night when the sun is down and each time, cycling for about three hours in a stretch. Not bad really, for someone who refuses to move her butt too much.
I surprised myself recently when I managed to down two pints of beer without passing out. In fact, I even managed to walk a long stretch in heels without wobbling. That’s really a feat because my usual standard is to knock out after just one pint. But I had Erdinger light, which is a pretty light beer and so I guess the two pints really won’t cause much drowsiness.
The weather was good earlier in the day and we decided to head to a spot we haven’t been in eons. The Mainland Tropical Fish Farm at Pasir Ris. This is basically a “fishy” place, where you can just drop by to feed the fish, fish a fish, or buy a fish. So don’t expect me to turn up all dressed up here. The trip was totally unplanned anyway and it so happened that what I like to wear was fish appropriate with all the splishing and slashing.
