Trying to fulfill all my 2012 resolutions is actually harder than I thought. I mean how difficult is it to use makeup which are more naturally formulated? Well, those of you on a similar quest will know what I’m talking about. IT’S DARN HARD! First off, you have issues of limited choices. Next, the issue of unavailability in our market. And I don’t even want to talk about wearability. So with that mindset, I was a bit skeptical about the Paul Penders makeup range when I was first introduced to it. I was even more doubtful when I saw that their mineral translucent power is white! OMG. Can this actually work for me?
So I’m trying to fulfill two of this year’s resolutions with this product – a liquid eyeliner in the natural category. I’ve been wanting to use eyeliner but haven’t had much success with the drugstore brands. All in all, I’ve bought three different eyeliners of different brands and they all failed me miserably. Somehow, they always fade out before the end of the day! And this Josie Maran Magic Marker Argan Liquid Eye Liner? Is it working for me?
I know some friends of mine will always try to look their best and be in the tip top condition even when they are feeling a little under the weather. Looking back, knowing some of them for ten years now, I have never once seen them looking sloppy or even looking like they are suffering from fatigue despite their whining and complaints. It’s a different story for myself entirely though. When I’m not feeling well or tired, it really shows in my eyes even if I make efforts to conceal it. So over the years, I’m less bothered about hiding my discomfort if I’m not feeling well and have to be out running an errand.
I have always been very safe when it comes to my makeup. I tend to choose very muted and safe colours, and more than often, I come across as under dressed than over dressed for special occasions. I have this worry of over dressing and looking like a clown somehow; strange, but very real in my irrational train of thoughts. Lately, however, I have decided to make little changes in my makeup kit. I have decided to be more adventurous and venture into colours I have never tried before.
