Hey peeps! Merry Christmas! Hope you’re all shopped up and just having fun feasting or just chilling. It’s the start of a break for me and I’m taking time away from blogging for a few days. I hope to be back sooner but if you don’t find me here, you can always find me on Facebook and on Instagram. And if you’re not already following me, check out my social media buttons on the sidebar. But before I go, I just want to share something about the word “X’mas” because someone sent me an email recently requesting that we stop writing Christmas as X’mas.
Hello VivaBellas! How has your week been? Mine has been a good balance of some work and family time. I’ve also managed to finally create a welcome page for my Viva Woman Facebook Page and so I am ready to officially invite those who have yet to become a fan of my page to be one now. I’ve made the decision to keep most of the content here to natural/organic beauty products or at least those that do not contain loads of chemicals. However, because I’m not a purist, so I do use some products that fall outside this category. And this is where my facebook fan page comes in.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the VivaBella August Giveaway! The winning comment picked was no. 62 from N! I’ll be sending you an email shortly so please keep a lookout and respond with your mailing address. For the rest, do stay tune for September’s giveaway. In the meantime, here are some reads from Total Beauty to keep you occupied this weekend. And if you haven’t noticed, they’re all about hair!
Hello VivaBellas! It’s TGIS and it’s a break for me as I usually don’t write long entries on Saturdays. Speaking of entries, people I meet usually ask me how I manage to produce articles on a daily basis. Well, it’s because I think about beauty every minute of the day! And this is how I get inspiration from stories I read, people I speak to and things that catch my eye. Actually, I don’t consider myself to be very prolific, compared to some of the other beauty bloggers who can churn out a few entries on a daily basis; one per day is about the maximum for me. Plus, I sometimes find it such a waste that entries I wrote yesterday get buried so quickly as the second post the next day. I sometimes even get upset that articles I really love go into the second page of this blog after just 5 days!
Yay, it’s a long weekend here in Singapore as we’ll be celebrating our National Day on Monday. I haven’t got much plans but I might try to catch The Last Airbender. Anyway, many people are probably away on some getaway so instead of babbling away, I’ll just leave you with ten entries that you might have missed:
