Not only do I have Weleda products in my handbag and on my bedside table, I now have a bunch of Weleda Creamy Body Washes competing for space on my bathroom countertop alongside the Weleda Birch Body Scrub. Good thing they are no eyesore as they all come in bright and colorful packaging. I love just about all of the body washes I’ve tried but I’m going to tell you my favorite of the four I’ve gotten from iHerb. And while we’re at that, I’ll also share my thoughts about their Birch Body Scrub—if it’s worth any space in your bathroom.
I wasn’t expecting myself to be such a fan but I can totally gush about Weleda! I really like their bodycare products. They are pure indulgence for the senses, very pampering for the skin and completely easy on the pockets. The hand cream, the first item I’ve tried from their slate is such a treat and so are their creamy body wash and body oils. I’m totally in awe and in love! Yes, you can be certain that this won’t be the last review on the brand.
Woo hoo! I can finally put both my arms up in the air to cheer without embarrassment even though I’m using a natural deodorant. How about that? Finally, I’ve found a natural deodorant that is 100% effective. This Real Purity Deodorant in holistic formula truly works. I can wear it for hours and not smell one bit funky at the end of the day. I kid you not! I’m totally pleased with its performance. YAY! FINALLY!
As you can probably tell, I’m developing a penchant for black soap. First it was Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Black Soap and now, it’s the Nubian Heritage African Black Soap Wash. I was seriously about to repurchase the one from Dr. Woods until I saw that this one is not described as a household cleanser and I don’t have to share it with my floor. I suppose going by that fact alone, it’ll very likely smell better than Dr. Woods?
It’s been a while since I’ve used a commercial body scrub. Well, actually, it’s been a while since I last scrubbed my body (but I’m still bathing daily alright). Anyway, seeing how much I like their shampoo, I decided to give the Giovanni Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub a go. I suppose I can always settle for a homemade scrub but at less than US$10 a tub, I think this product is cost effective enough compared to making one of my own. In any case, it won’t be possible to get almost similar ingredients for that price too.
