EO Lemon Verbena Shower Gel

477219559 c139c17abe m EO Lemon Verbena Shower GelI first saw the effects of this shower gel on the arms of an old lady.  Her wrinkled skin immediately appeared smooth after being washed with this gel and the result was incredulous.  Of course I had to try it for myself.

However, after using the whole of the 240ml bottle, I can’t tell the difference on mine.  Maybe it only works well on wrinkled skin?

But nonetheless, I love this.

Nature’s Gate Organics Deodorant

421000698 50c4d41641 m Natures Gate Organics DeodorantI was really excited to find Nature’s Gate Organics Deodorant on the shelves at the pharmacy.

This is a 70% certified organic vegan formula that is  not only hypoallergenic but contains no parabens, no propylene glycol and no aluminum chlorohydrate.  At the price of S$10.90, this is definitely worth a buy if it works.

And I’m happy to say that it does…for awhile at least!

I bought the lemongrass and clary sage deodorant stick and to be honest, was skeptical that its totally natural botanical ingredients can get rid of my armpit odour.  But it does!  My underarms were kept almost fresh after a few hours of usage indoors.  Not bad!

Inexpensive effective anti-perspirant

This is a delicately fragranced alcohol free anti perspirant roll-on specially formulated to reduce stinging.  I’ve been using this deodorant for a few years and have been rather happy with it, in the absence of an effective alternative.  It really works, keeping me smelling quite fresh for hours.

Ret rid of those armpit hair

382826474 858e691a98 Ret rid of those armpit hair

I really want to get rid of my underarm hair.  Permanently if possible.  However, I’m too embarrassed to go to the doctor for a laser or an electrolysis hair removal.   So I shave.  Yes, that’s what I do.

I did try other means but those methods prove too time consuming, painful or messy.  For example, plucking my armpit hair on an almost daily basis.  It was feasible when I could afford a longer time in the bathroom.  But with time constraints now, I’ve to resort to quicker methods.  And I’ve tried using hair removal creams like Veet, but yikes, it’s smelly and messy plus it burns my skin sometimes.  So I’m back to shaving daily.
