The Apivita Express Beauty Mask With Sea Lavender came in timely, just when I was feeling a need for a hydration boost. I usually rely on my DIY masks but this time, I was particularly intrigued with the sea lavender. I know lavender but what exactly is sea lavender? Well, just as the name suggests, it’s a marine plant that thrives on the beach with a host of anti-aging benefits for the skin.
These are the second set of products I’m using from Fancl. The first was the new Fancl Anti-Aging Care range and as reviewed, I did like them and so I agreed to trying other products and I was sent these. I was a bit surprised to receive two different mask packs but I realized that they both serve different functions. The Fancl Pore Cleansing Pack is a deep pore cleansing mask while the Fancl Skin Renewal Pack is a newer product that is formulated with Royal Jelly Essence to renew skin.
Facial cleanser is one skincare product I can afford to change very frequently. I mean, my face certainly doesn’t insist on befriending just one cleanser and has no issues playing host to different cleansers even in a single day. I guess that makes me quite a liberal huh? So somewhere last month, I switched products and got started on the MyChelle Dermaceuticals facial cleansers, after having read some of your comments about the brand in my posts. I usually don’t repurchase my facial cleansers just because I like to try new ones to review them for the blog but you know what? I am quite likely to repurchase this set again.
It’s funny how skin types can change over time. I used to have combination skin that is more on the oily side, but after changing my lifestyle and diet in the past year, I find that my skin is now normal to dry. And because of my dry skin, I find that my face flakes more, which is probably due to an accumulation of dead skin. So from using clay mask treatments, I’ve switched to face scrubs and the one I’m mostly using now is Kimberly Sayer Gentle Almond & Lavender Face Scrub.
