Review: Kiehl’s shampoos for fine, thin hair

Kiehls Shampoos Review: Kiehls shampoos for fine, thin hair

It’s a dire situation to live with fine, limp and greasy hair; those who share my predicament know exactly the pain I’m going through. So I’m all for checking out shampoos – natural or otherwise – that will create volume or thicken my hair. That’s also why I zoomed straight in on Kiehl’s range of shampoos, when I was given the choice to pick some products on the house last week. And of course the two I picked had the words “Thickening” and “Volumizing” on them.

So of course I had to get something from the EO range while I was at Dragon D’or Cosmetics in Chinatown. Besides the Rose & Chamomile Shower Gel, I also purchased the Sweet Orange Clarifying Shampoo. According to Anna, this shampoo is suitable for my oily scalp.

Preservative & paraben free Dead Sea products

I love products using Dead Sea minerals but most of the commercial brands I’ve come across from Israel tend to contain quite a bit of chemical ingredients and this has somewhat deterred me from trying them out. So when Pamela contacted me earlier in the year to try her C’est Naturel range, I was reluctant to. However, I changed my mind when they added preservative & paraben free items to their C’est Naturel Dead Sea product range. Although the ingredients are not 100% natural and do contain some chemical synthetics, but the thought that they’ve omitted parabens made me at least more comfortable to want to try their products.

Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Shampoo

 Burts Bees Very Volumizing Shampoo

I fell out of love with Burt’s Bees after they were bought over by Clorox in 2007 but this Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Pomegranate & Soy Shampoo is making me love the brand all over again!  It’s rocking good stuff and until now, I still can’t believe that a natural shampoo free of Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate can give my fine limp hair volume and also control my greasy scalp at the same time!
