I wasn’t expecting myself to be such a fan but I can totally gush about Weleda! I really like their bodycare products. They are pure indulgence for the senses, very pampering for the skin and completely easy on the pockets. The hand cream, the first item I’ve tried from their slate is such a treat and so are their creamy body wash and body oils. I’m totally in awe and in love! Yes, you can be certain that this won’t be the last review on the brand.
So I took a random chance with Nubian Heritage, giving their Raw Shea Butter Hand Cream with Soy Milk a trial after a not-so-fantastic encounter with their African Black Soap Body Wash. I needed a rich cream by my bedside that would comfort my hands before bedtime and this one looks thick enough for my need. I mean, Vitamin E? Frankincense? Myrrh? They all sound like nutrients my hands badly need to grab!
The Apivita Express Beauty Mask With Sea Lavender came in timely, just when I was feeling a need for a hydration boost. I usually rely on my DIY masks but this time, I was particularly intrigued with the sea lavender. I know lavender but what exactly is sea lavender? Well, just as the name suggests, it’s a marine plant that thrives on the beach with a host of anti-aging benefits for the skin.
I had my wisdom tooth extracted in the early part of this year. It was a procedure I’ve postponed again and yet again. But I finally garnered sufficient courage to get rid of it, thinking it’ll put a stop to all the pain and inconveniences I was experiencing. Well, it did but it brought on another set of problem—the left side of my face especially near my left jaw does not look like how it was before! Under certain lightings, I actually look like I have a sagging jowl. (T_T)
