I finally got round to acquiring a wraparound watch, after a prolonged procrastination. Okay, it was on sale at Shopbop and I thought, well, it goes pretty well with the color of the bag I was getting. So into the shopping cart the La Mer Simple Wrap Watch was added and it arrived three days later, fitting both my bag and my wrist very well. Sweet.
I haven’t been shopping at Etsy for a couple of months. As a matter of fact, I haven’t even visited the site for awhile. But I did today and was blown away by these handmade embroidered silk ribbon necklace pendants! Embroidered rose, daisy, iris, lily, daffodil, sunflower, hollyhocks, chrysanthemum, and more! Wow, they are SO SO pretty! I probably never mentioned it but I have a soft spot for any type of embroidery work. Yes, and I even did embroidered craftwork some years back and I’ll show you one of my pieces in a bit if you like to see. （＾＿－）
Satchel was my kind of thing like 20 years ago? Ha. But somehow, the appeal lessened down the years and it took me a lot longer to want to get hold of the classic Cambridge Satchel, often described as “The Brit It Bag”. But I jumped at the chance when I saw this pink shimmering bag in metallic leather at Shopbop and decided to get it with the gift certificates I received as part of my monthly fashion collaboration with the online store.
Are you a shoeaholic? You are? Well, I admire you. Because I find it difficult to buy shoes. Nah, I am no Miss Big Foot. Neither am I Miss Tiny Dainty Feet. But I just have very specific (read: boring) ideas about them. One, they must show my toes. Two, they must be comfortable to walk in. Three, they must look good on my feet. Four, they should make me look taller. Five, they must not cost too much. With these sort of criteria, I somehow end up buying similar looking shoes after awhile.
