Thanks to some complimentary gift certificates I’d received, this Pour La Victoire Tate Satchel is my new carryall from Shopbop which is roomy enough to carry a bowling ball in there…LOL. Okay, the design and color is a tad boring but it fits my objective of having something sturdy and solid for a change. I’m definitely loving the buttery soft leather and the fact that it can function as both a shoulder bag as well as a hand carry.
As part of my fashion collaboration with Shopbop, I’m pleased to bring you news that the online store is going to have a big Thanksgiving sale on Wednesday, 21 November 2012. So if you’ve been eyeing something from the store, this might be a good opportunity to grab your desired item. As for me, I’ve been browsing through the store and picking out items I’m keen to get and in that list is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Trompe L’oeil Watch.
I bought myself two pairs of new shoes this week and one of them is a pair of sneakers. I recall the last time I wore sneakers was like 10 years ago. But because I don’t exercise anymore, I just don’t see a need for them really. Well, I’m not sure if I’ll get back to doing any serious exercises with them but they’ll definitely come in handy for some upcoming outdoor activities in the weeks ahead. Other than that, I doubt I’ll wear them much on a frequent basis because they are completely out of my fashion radar. But I kinda like the fuchsia color. If only I could find matching socks too.
I was trying to show my son our resemblance when he saw these pictures of me in my teens. And guess what he said? “You look better now!” He said my hair looked really strange back then. LOL. That, was my maggie noodle hairdo – which was the rage in the 80s. I think I wore that kind of hairstyle for many years because my mom had always liked my hair permed. Yeah, mom and her weighty words – better to curl my hair then to suffer her nags really.
