One top two styles: for weekdays & weekends too

This is one of the pieces from my first purchase at taobao.com and I’m so pleased with it. The fit is good, the quality is fine and the best part is, price is really affordable! In fact, I immediately placed another purchase after receiving my first order. However, I can only get them next month as the order has to be made through someone as the Chinese website only accepts Renminbi.

Loving my hardy and macho looking Tungsten rings

I first came to know about Tungsten Carbide rings in 2009 via the web and gauging by the various online discussions, it seems that such rings are a popular choice for wedding bands because they’re less traditional looking. Anyway, I love wearing rings but I’m not good with them and tend to drop them excessively. So this material works wonderfully for me because it is hardy and scratch resistant. I’ve been wearing mine almost daily for a long time and they have withstand all sorts of knocking and dropping but I don’t see any scratches at all. In fact, they still look brand new.

Something old, something borrowed, something blue

Recently, I started wearing this old Seiko watch again. The watch belongs to my mom and she passed it to me when I was in my teens. So for a few years, this watch accompanied me to school every day. Ya, I know it doesn’t look cool on a teenager but I don’t think I thought much of being cool back then. Anyway, I didn’t have much of a choice and spending money on a new watch wasn’t exactly in my agenda too.

Fish or no fish, this is what I really like to wear daily

The weather was good earlier in the day and we decided to head to a spot we haven’t been in eons. The Mainland Tropical Fish Farm at Pasir Ris. This is basically a “fishy” place, where you can just drop by to feed the fish, fish a fish, or buy a fish. So don’t expect me to turn up all dressed up here. The trip was totally unplanned anyway and it so happened that what I like to wear was fish appropriate with all the splishing and slashing.
