I’m all for short haircuts. Well, I don’t have a choice really because my limp and thin hair texture doesn’t not allow me to keep my hair long anyway. I didn’t really like the pixie haircut until I spotted it on Zoe Tay. I thought it looked very sassy and chic on her.

Altas Venture, the company who set up my last coloring using Eva Professional Hair Color Series, also distributes the Artego range that comprises mostly natural botanical extracts to treat hair and scalp problems.   They arranged for me to try their new Extracto Care Oily Hair products at Cyrenena, a hair salon located at Tampines which specializes in scalp treatment.

I was happy to learn that we are now getting more professional hair coloring options here in Singapore. Apart from the established brands like Wella and L’oreal, we now have newer brands like Eva Professional from Spain that offer lower ammonia content. For once, I didn’t smell like cat’s pee right after a coloring session. In fact, there was hardly a trace of the smell even when the colors were being applied on my hair!
