Review: Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream

Yu Be

I was really happy to get my hands on Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream which is a glycerin-based moisturizer enriched with Vitamin E, Vitamin B2 and Camphor.  This cream is one of the best selling medicated, vitamin-enriched skin care products in Japan developed by Yoshikiyo Nowatari since 1957.  In Japan, it’s known as Yuskin A.

I haven’t had the urge to buy lipsticks for awhile now.  Until I saw these.  Paul & Joe lipsticks with interestingly designed print case from Dear Pleasure and Chocoholic under their Sparkles Collection.  Don’t they look so pretty?  Good thing for me was that I was given the one from Chocoholic free.

The Japanese PA sunscreen rating system

Yuri Ebihara Anessa Sunscreen

If you’re buying sunscreen from a Japanese brand, you’re likely to come across the PA rating system.

PA stands for protection grade of UVA system and is the Japanese measurement of sun protection, which is based on the Persistent Pigment Darkening (PPD) reaction reading at 2-4 hours of sun exposure.  According to info from the wiki, the Persistent Pigment Darkening (PPD) method is a method of measuring UVA protection, similar to the SPF method of measuring UVB light protection.

Paul-&-Joe-Dual-Powder-Foundation

It’s been almost a year I stayed off using powder foundation after I discovered mineral makeup. No, I haven’t sworn off it of course.  I merely took a break from it.  Actually, on and off, I tried putting on powder foundation again but I totally detest that cakey look now.  But I was opened to trying brands that are said to give that natural sheer look.  Like French-Japanese makeup line Paul and Joe.
