DIY natural skin care workshop

handmade-cosmetics

(Pretty? I made these myself!)

I’ve always wanted to learn more about creating my own cosmetics but didn’t know of any suitable workshops or courses that I can attend here in Singapore. But thanks to Fr3b, I finally attended a DIY workshop conducted by Jayeon Miyin and made my own BB cream as well as bath soaps and cleansing oil!  I spent three hour at the session and it was really well worth the time because in the end, I brought home natural skin care products specially customized for my skin type!

BRTC BB Cream available for S$55 at Watsons

BRTC BB Cream

Since my coverage about Korean BB Cream or Blemish Balm Cream last September, our local market has seen more of the product from brands like The Face Shop, Missha and Skin Food. And now, besides the Korean beauty stores, you can also purchase BB Cream off department stores like John Little which carry the Lotree BB Cream as well as Watsons which sells Rojukiss BB Cream and most recently, the coveted BRTC BB Cream.

Review: SkinFood Jojoba Heel Pack

SkinFood Jojoba Heel Pack

I’m a sucker for all things convenient which does not require too much effort on my part.  So when I came across SkinFood Jojoba Heel Pack, I knew I had to try this.  All I needed to do was to stick this heel pack which comes with an oil gel patch on my heels before I sleep and hopefully, get softer heels when I wake up.

Review: SkinFood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet

SkinFood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet

SkinFood is really quite clever with their products by coming out with this partial care line consisting of masks that zone in the parts of our face that need special treatments like nose, cheeks, eyes, forehead and chin area.  I picked out their SkinFood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet recently and was quite pleased with the results.  It’s great for that perk me up effect and my undereye did look somewhat brighter and tighter immediately after application.  But of course, the effect is only temporary.
