I haven’t really touched my Everyday Minerals Foundation since it arrived like three months ago.  I mentioned during my last review of their Everyday Minerals Multi-tasking Concealer that I didn’t picked the right shade.  But a few days ago, I decided to mix all the three shades of foundation into an empty container and voilà, I got a much closer shade to my skin tone.

One of the factors affecting my decision to buy a botanical or organic skin care product is the packaging.  I’m not talking about pretty or classy packaging.  Rather, I’m referring to how the product is stored which determines if the integrity of natural ingredients are better preserved.   

Some years ago a beauty therapist told me that glass bottles, jars and vials are better in protecting the ingredients of natural skincare products.  Apparently, glass is good as it increases the shelf life, prevents light degradation and engergizes organic or botanical ingredients. In addition, glass containers ensure no biochemical integration.

Following my last entry about BB Cream: the new rage in foundation,  I started seeing a lot more reviews on the product.  BB Cream is short for Blemish Balm Cream which is said to provide excellent coverage as a foundation as well as to regenerate the skin. Of the many reviews, I thought Kimoko did a good job because she’s such a BB cream addict!  She has personally tested as many as 10 different BB creams from different brands. The annual Pirelli Calendar is considered one of the most celebrated icons of corporate communication and is something of an institution by itself.  Each year the calendar is sent to VIPs whose relationship with Pirelli warrants the gifting of such exclusive swag.  And while different themes are employed for each calendar, they’re always based on beautiful women.
