Looks like we now have more options of organic and natural skin care products from Watsons. Besides Lavera, Trilogy, Renew and Sukin, I spotted products from Bod, Juice Organics and La Claree. The Yes To Cucumbers and Yes To Tomatoes range that I’ve been looking out for are also in stock now. And what’s good to know is that the prices of these new products are all within the affordable range.
Today, I’m happy to introduce Kanga Organics, a new online store based in Singapore selling organic skin care products. Owner Joey Lam decided to start this setup in a bid to bring in affordable, yet authentic organic products into the local market because she was exasperated with the limited, yet expensive organic skin care lines available here. So Kanga Organics was founded on the philosophy of “sharing the joy of using affordable organics for everyone” as well as a way of giving thanks to Mother Earth.
For ladies in Singapore who love all things Korean, in particular Korean cosmetics, you can now look beyond the range of BB creams and get real with Korean’s best-kept beauty secrets right at your doorstep. Well, okay, not exactly at your doorstep but at least you don’t have to fly all the way to Korea as all you need to do is to travel down to Spa Scene located in Raffles Shopping Centre and be indulged in a world of beauty and hair care services provided by award-winning and highly sought after therapists and stylists direct from Seoul. Yes, be pampered by real native Koreans!
Last week, I was invited to Royale Retreat Nail Spa at Siglap Centre to review their manicure and pedicure services. Just from the name, I was expecting a really posh place with the best pampering service, but I was a tad disappointed that the spa’s facade was quite normal looking – just like any other nail salons. But once I stepped inside through the glass door, the vibes were completely different as I was greeted with a very cosy setting, which is somewhat resort like.
