Skinny women likely to miscarry

It’s not always good to be skinny.  At least not when it comes to childbearing.

According to an article published in Xinhua Online, a study from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine revealed that underweight women are 72 percent more likely to miscarry in the first three months of pregnancy.

The researchers based their findings on data collected from 603 women between the ages of 18 and 55 who miscarried during the first three months of pregnancy. That data was compared to information collected from 6,000 women whose pregnancies surpassed the three-month mark.

Lemongrass feet treat

lemongrass

I’m totally biased towards lemongrass.  Which explains why I love this lemongrass range of products from Body Shop for my footbath.

This is what I do with them.

After rolling my feet over a beaded foot massager, I prepare my footbath by dropping some lemongrass deodorising foot soak and immersing my feet for about 15 to 20 minutes.  Next, I scrub my feet and calf area with the lemongrass deodorising foot polish which contains walnut granules to work on dry rough skin and sesame oil to soften things up.  Finally, I wash my feet thoroughly, and after drying them, apply the lemongrass deodorising foot powder lotion containing sesame oil which quickly transforms into talc when dry.

Foot cushions for comfortable heels

I used to have a problem wearing certain high heels.  I couldn’t stop my feet from sliding forward and it was most annoying.  I also had to stop myself from buying certain shoes because the outer soles were too slippery and I dislike the idea of sending them to Mister Minit.   Well, now I don’t have these problems anymore.  All thanks to Tip Toes and Sole Stopperz from Foot Petals which help to keep my feet perfectly cushioned and allow me to strut confidently and safely.

Handbags make you ill

Dirty handbags revealed
Women carry handbags everywhere, from the office to public toilets to the floor of the car. Most women won’t be caught without their handbags, but did they ever stop to think about where their handbags go during the day and what was on the bottom of their handbags?
