So it says on the Acure Organics Cell Stimulating Facial mask that you’re to apply the mask over your face until you look like a green sea-monster. That sure sounds intriguing and fun but it was not that that stimulated my purchasing decision. What had spurred my purchase were the rather glowing online reviews plus the fact that I’m almost done with my Now Solutions European Clay Power. Well, I also needed something new to play with and after using the Acure mask a few times now, I’ve to agree that it is indeed stimulating…too stimulating actually.
A reader had emailed me recently asking me about the body washes that I’m using. Actually, I have been using a soap from Soap Paradise mostly but on some days, I alternate with a body wash. I was using one from NutriBiotic and currently, trying out the Nature’s Baby Organics that I bought for my son. Both products were purchased from iHerb. I’ll just be upfront by stating that there is nothing outstanding about these body washes. They’re both in the natural category and the only thing worth mentioning is that they’re affordable.
I don’t usually try hair products as readily as I would with skincare products but I decided to take these Apivita Shine & Revitalizing Shampoo plus Conditioner with me when I was away for some short trips as they were conveniently sized for that purpose. I was a little leery of my decision as I didn’t want to live with bad hair days for my trips but in the end, I just threw caution to the wind.
In conjunction with the Earth Hour last Saturday, Apivita showcased one of its best-selling products, the 100% Natural Wax Candle made with pure essentials oils from its aromatherapy range. I don’t mind candles as many of them smell great but I am not that huge a fan. Well, let’s just say they don’t feature in my shopping list at all. However, I decided to accept the gift of this candle from Apivita as it is said to be able to triple-duty as a hand moisturizer and lip balm.
