I’m enjoying my very first perk of being an editor of a beauty blog.  Receiving free samples of great skincare products to review!  And they come all the way from United States!  Lovely isn’t it?  Heh.

Honestly, I had no idea what Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion was when I was asked to review.  I had thought it was some handcream.  But it apparently isn’t.  When I received the samples, I realised that it is a lotion not just for the hands, but also for the face and body.  I was even more excited when I saw these words printed on the package.

This is another review of an upmarket anti-perspirant and this time it is Kiehl’s Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Cream. 

Made with orange, lemon and linseed extracts, this anti-perspirant is extremely gentle, and yet is able to soothe and condition against sweat and odor for a long period.  It apparently reduces underarm perspiration utilizing advanced micro-sized drying molecules for sheer absorption and leaves no residue.

This is the first in a series of reviews I will run on tried and tested anti-perspirants and deodorants.

I’ll kick off with this rather-expensive-but-did-nothing-for-me-sweet-smelling Origins No Offense. 

This is a swivel up, rub on alcohol-free clear stick type of deodorant which is supposed to eliminate offensive armpit odour.  It contains ingredients such as Cabreuva, Gaultherie and Bay Leaf to fight unwanted bacteria; Litsea Cubeba to refresh; while soothing Winterbloom and Neroli to keep user feeling cool, calm and collected. 

I’ve a couple of product reviews in line especially on some of the products I’ve loved for a long time.  But those have to wait.  Because I MUST blog about this first!  Actually I’m so excited about it, I can barely contain my excitement now.

This is the product touted as better than botox.  While I’m skeptical with that comparison, I’m very much convinced that StriVectin-SD is excellent for reducing fine lines, improving the condition of dry skin and perhaps stretch marks as well.
