Natural skin care with carrier oils

carrier oil for skin care

I have mixed feelings about using carrier oil for skincare. While I loved my Rosehip Seed Oil while it lasted, it is not something I want to use that often. I’m not sure why my initial excitement wore off. Perhaps it is due to the ambivalence after I found out that it caused the growth of a milia seed on my eye or because I couldn’t mix it with my other skin care products since it’s a fairly rich oil. So while I am still open to experimenting with carrier oils, I think I need to change my usage and expectations of them.

Canmake Eyelash Essence: overnight growth

Canmake Eye Lash Essence

Canmake Eye Lash Essence is truly amazing!  I’ve only used this essence twice and I just have to rave about it.  It’s by far, the best product I’ve tried which can noticeably grow my eyelashes overnight!  And I got it at a steal at about S$11 during the recent GSS sale!  Anyway, the normal retail price is only S$13.90, still very affordable compared to the other more expensive brands like Talika or Mavala.

Review: SkinFood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet

SkinFood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet

SkinFood is really quite clever with their products by coming out with this partial care line consisting of masks that zone in the parts of our face that need special treatments like nose, cheeks, eyes, forehead and chin area.  I picked out their SkinFood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet recently and was quite pleased with the results.  It’s great for that perk me up effect and my undereye did look somewhat brighter and tighter immediately after application.  But of course, the effect is only temporary.

Product review on Lavera organic skincare

Lavera-Organic-Skincare-Range

If you’ve been shopping at Watson’s a bit, you would probably have seen the Lavera organic range of skincare from Germany.  I started using Lavera SPF 40 Neutral Sunblock, and then moved on to purchase some of their other products when they were on a 20% offer.
