Shiseido Sun Protection Lotion

I have moved on from my favourite SkinCeuticals Physical UV Defense SPF30 to using Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion with SPF34 PA++ since last month and have been quite happy with it so far.

Yellow-based foundation for Asian

Many years ago, I committed the error of buying a foundation of pink undertone thinking that it would complement my skin colour.  Lucky I was able to realise rather quickly that it didn’t suit me as it made my face look highly unnatural.

These days, I find yellow-based foundation more suitable as this shade makes my face look more natural.  I also have more choices now, compared to previously.  Thanks to more yellow-based foundations from renowned brands like Mac and Bobbi Brown who understand that Asian skin tends to have more yellow undertones.

Vitamin Enriched Face Base

Lilian who is one of Malaysia’s influential blogger, recently discovered the goodness of Bobbi Brown, especially one of their bestsellers, Bobbie Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base

Said Lilian on her blog Women Only:

I just want to share that I had been plastering this over my face for the last few days and love it. Firstly, it has a citrusy fragrance and is very refreshing. Secondly, it doesn’t give that oily feelings. Normally, I use it after my regular toning/moisturising and top it on top. If I am not needing make-up, I just brush on some loose face powder. Otherwise, I will apply another layer of foundation.

Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash

I recently started using the The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash and have been rather pleased with its performance.

As the name implies, this is a gentle creamy facial wash suitable for all skin types.  Even though it says that the facial wash can remove dirt and make-up, I will always use a makeup remover before using it.
