An-yong-ha-se-yo: Ecocare Pure Balancing Cleanser

Some of you may have seen this brand sitting on the shelves at Guardian Pharmacy; it’s been in the market since some time last year. While the range falls under the natural category, but there is just nothing compelling about the products that make me want to part with my money. The price point is very unattractive in my opinion for a new range that has no unique selling point. So what made me pick this cleanser out? Well, because it was going for just S$16 at the BeautyAsia exhibition I attended last month. Unfortunately, they didn’t bring in the cream cleanser or I would have picked that too.

Naturelle D’Orient 100% Pure Argan Oil & a giveaway

Those of you who have followed this blog long enough know that natural oils are big in my skincare routine. I use natural oils daily mostly for face care although I sometimes extend them to my body care too. However, even though I’ve been using oils in my skincare for about two years or so, I’ve not tried all the available oils out there. Argan oil, for example, is one that I’ve only seen as an ingredient in my pre-mix oil but I’ve not used it on its own. So when My Life Store approached me to review the Naturelle D’Orient Pure Argan Oil, I said yes because I was curious as to how it would perform on me given the raves I’ve read about using pure argan oil.

Guest review: Yadah natural skin care from Korea

♥Guest Post♥ Today’s post on Yadah skin care products is reviewed by MsLips, a reader of Viva Woman. All products featured in this post have been given to her on a complimentary basis by the company for the purpose of review.

When Sesame asked me to review the Yadah product range, I agreed mainly out of curiosity. I had heard so many good things about Korean skincare but had never tried any of it till now. It was with some surprise though when I went to the Yadah website and found that the brand is “natural and authentic skincare for teens and young adults”. I had long since passed the stage of teen and young adult. However, I did have combination skin that tends to break out quite easily. So I guess my skin is quite similar to that of a young adult’s. After trying the products for a couple of weeks, I must say that in general, I give them the thumbs up.

Quick look: Pangea Organics Skincare Discovery Kit

Hey, isn’t this post about Pangea Organics? So what’s that pink Bellabox lurking in the background of the picture? Oh wait, isn’t Bellabox one of those that offers subcription-based personalized beauty box to your doorstep each month? So have they got an ecocentric beauty box for subscription now? Er…not quite. The Pangea Organics Skincare Discovery Kit came from Bellabox all right but nah, it’s not part of the monthly subscription box. It so happens that Bellabox also operates an online store and Pangea Organics is one of the brands they carry in Singapore and this Skincare Discovery Kit was sent to me for sampling.
