I bought some new cosmetics from Naturisimo recently and scored this Trilogy Rosehip 100% Natural Tinted Lip Gloss for free. Isn’t the red so gorgeous? But being just a lip gloss, it doesn’t come out as a full red on my lips but just a hint of red. I realized that this product isn’t for sale at the moment but comes packaged as a bundle with the Trilogy Rosehip Oil. Looks like Trilogy is using this to test the makeup market but I wonder if anything more will come out of this.
All ladies love to stock their bags with lip balms before heading out and I’m sure most of you have more than one lip balm in your collection. Lip balms are sort of like a one-size-fit-all product that are great for moisturizing your lips to keep them from chapping. And lip balms like these from Crazy Rumor made from natural ingredients with delish flavors – they definitely make perfect handbag stuffers!
I have a case of occasional dry lips, and have never been able to find a lip balm that is not only organic and safe, but also effective in moisturizing. I used to rely on vaseline based lip balms and had no idea they were further drying my lips and making me reliant on their products. And when I found out, I tried organic brands, but they often left a powdery texture on my lips after a while, and still, I see flakes of skin chapped from my lips. So I sort of admitted defeat and settled for drinking lots of water to hydrate them from inside out instead. And then…Estelle & Thild lip balm came along!
I was both excited and skeptical when I learnt of Miracle Lips from Holocuren. Going by the ingredient list and product description, it sounds like a wonder product but yet I couldn’t help but squint at the word “miracle” used in the name. Miracle Lips is described as a 2-in-1 medicinal lip salve that may be used daily to enhance lip health; to heal and prevent cold sores, and to treat chapped lips. It contains a combination of highly active natural and organic phytochemical ingredients that make a difference in just one application because it is able to penetrate at a deep cellular level, giving long term benefits. So the question is, does it really deliver its promise?
