Deliciously dark nail colours

Chanel Black Satin nail polish maybe hot but it may not suit everyone.  And really, what’s so fun if everyone is going around town with black nails?  Lucky there are alternatives to set you apart, yet allow you to still have some drama, nail-wise.

Consider navy blue and midnight blue polish which are current hots.  Check out Blueberry Glaze from Misa, Kabaret from Nails Inc, Up All Night from China Glaze or Midnight Magic from CoverGirl.  Totally bluish and vampy.

Instant cuticle grooming on the go

Mavapen

I am far from manicurious but I do like to have my nails looking good, especially around the nail contour.  So I always carry a Mavapen in my bag which I can whip out to groom my cuticles anytime, anywhere.

Just one application, and the handy pen containing nutritive oil actually softens the skin and gently loosens cuticles from the nail surface, making my nails look well manicured, even if they aren’t exactly so.

I particularly favour Mavapen, which is available at Mavala counters and selected Sasa stores, probably because it was one of the earlier ones available in the local market.  It is neither greasy nor messy to apply and the smell is rather pleasant.  Manicare is another brand which carries similar products.

OPI nail polish

When I do my own pedicures or whenever I visit the nail salons, I use only OPI nail polish because they’re the best!

With clever names that customers can look forward to with each new Collection, OPI nail lacquers are renowned globally for its brilliant, chip-resistant, professional formula.

My favourite colours include Vampire State Building, Russian To A Party, I’m Not Really A Waitress and Bogotta Blackberry.  Right now, they have over 200 fashion-forward colours and it’s no wonder that OPI nail lacquers are beloved around the world, and trusted by professionals.  I also highly recommend using their Start-To-Finish base and top coat before any varnishes because it’s really superior like no other.
