La Colline Velvet Touch 2-Way Cake

This La Colline Velvet Touch Two Way Cake Foundation really lives up to its name, giving me a complexion that looks incredibly velvety and radiant.  I’m into my second and I have to say I’m rather happy with it.

It was however not the case initially when I started using it.  My face actually appeared cakey and splotchy after application and I was vastly disappointed because I was hoping that it would do better than the Estee Lauder’s Cyber White 2-way cake I was using earlier.  So out of frustration, I switched to Stila’s Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation and was more or less happy with the latter.

Lancome Primordiale Optimum Nuit

For BloggerTips, I’m featuring Paris Beaverbanks’ review on a Lancome night cream from her blog Champagne Tastes on a Beer Budget.  Paris, who is based in KL, Malaysia, is an avid user of various make up and skincare range and frequently shares about the products she uses.

Here’s her say on the Lancome Primordiale Optimum Nuit Night Cream:

Facial peeling creams and masks

It is really not enough to rely on my monthly facials to upkeep my appearance.  Daily and weekly maintenance are actually more important.  Therefore, on top of the daily cleansing and moisturizing, I have been alternating between using a peeling cream and a facial mask to keep my skin looking brighter and hydrated.

Because I am lazy, I will only use products that are easy to apply.  Therefore, anything that is hassle free is good for me.

StriVectin-SD stretch mark cream

I’ve a couple of product reviews in line especially on some of the products I’ve loved for a long time.  But those have to wait.  Because I MUST blog about this first!  Actually I’m so excited about it, I can barely contain my excitement now.

This is the product touted as better than botox.  While I’m skeptical with that comparison, I’m very much convinced that StriVectin-SD is excellent for reducing fine lines, improving the condition of dry skin and perhaps stretch marks as well.
