Natural Beauty Inside Out
I bought some new cosmetics from Naturisimo recently and scored this Trilogy Rosehip 100% Natural Tinted Lip Gloss for free. Isn’t the red so gorgeous? But being just a lip gloss, it doesn’t come out as a full red on my lips but just a hint of red. I realized that this product isn’t for sale at the moment but comes packaged as a bundle with the Trilogy Rosehip Oil. Looks like Trilogy is using this to test the makeup market but I wonder if anything more will come out of this.
So what exactly is Max And Me? A love story? A work of art. A body treat? An inspiration for the mind and soul? Personally, it’s a bit hard to pin an answer as it’s all of these and more. But one thing I’ll concede is that after trying all seven blends for over two weeks, they’re definitely more than just body oils to me because what they really are is an experience! I mean, just being able to pick and choose a blend that suits my mood is surely a luxury that makes me feel beyond being pampered and spoilt. Can I say that I feel somewhat royal? Heh.
I wonder how many of you remember when I used to rave about Sukin Organics product range back in 2008. In fact, I was pretty enamored with the Sukin Organics Foaming Facial Cleanser and had used up quite a few bottles during that stretch. But actually, if you’ve seen Sukin, you’ll know what I mean when I say the brand is unexciting but yet appealing. I mean, it doesn’t feature any interesting ingredients nor is it a cult brand but somehow, the simple natural concept, affordable price plus easy accessibility work together to give this brand a certain mass appeal.
Before I gave birth to my son, I used to love my feet more than my hands. Yeah I did. And it was for the simple reason that my feet was prettier than my hands. So I had this weekly pedicures and I would slather foot cream religiously. I even wore socks! But when I got pregnant, my feet swelled up and when the swelling subsided, they looked slightly wrinkled up. Then my feet care routine went downhill from there. I still slathered foot cream but it was only when I remembered or when I felt like it. I also had lesser time for feet care and I began to dislike foot cream that left stain marks on the floor.
