If you like using synthetic brushes, you most probably like it because they feel soft on your skin. I love them too and in fact, have stopped using brushes made with animal hair because they’re rough to the touch. However, the problem with synthetic brushes for me is that after a couple of washes, they feel oily and the brushes don’t retain their original shape anymore. Do you have a similar problem? I wash my brushes with a baby shampoo and body wash and initially I thought it was because I didn’t wash them clean but after washing like two or three times repeatedly, the problem still remains.
Why do my synthetic face brushes turn oily?
Replace my old Tweezerman Slant Tweezer?

My right and left brains are fighting because I’m undecided if I should get the Tweezerman for Benefit Tweezers. My right brain insist that the new Tweezerman for Benefit Slant Tweezer is too pretty to give it a miss and come on, the current Tweezerman Slant Tweezer is too old! My left brain on the other hand insist that there’s nothing wrong with using the old tweezer because it is still trusty and precise so why waste the money? So which side should I listen to?
Review: EcoTools Bamboo Foundation Brush

I couldn’t resist getting the EcoTools Bamboo Foundation Brush even though it probably cost more getting it at Watsons than online. However, paying S$11.90 seems okay for me especially when it granted me instant gratification.
Earth-friend and cruelty free
EcoTools is a range of earth-friendly beauty tools that are also supposed to be easy on our pocket. The brushes are made of synthetic Taklon bristles that are 100% cruelty free and from what I’ve read online, the range have received much raves from users all over. In fact, this Bamboo Foundation Brush I bought received 4.2 out of 5 ratings from 117 users at Makeupalley. Unfortunately, it didn’t make the mark for me.
Review: Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush
So I caved in to all the raves I’ve read on the beauty forums and from fellow beauty bloggers and bought the Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush finally. It was on sale and I only paid S$10 for it. I was very excited about this brush and expected it to perform better than the current synthetic kabuki brushes I’m using from Momo Minerals. But did it?
