Questions for me? Read my FAQs

Instead of a post today, I’ve put up a new page on my blog in the form of Frequently Asked Questions or FAQs. If you’re interested, you can read them here.  The FAQs will tell a little of my background leading up to blogging here, address questions of why I’ve not been responding to your emails or why I have no interest to cover some product information that comes my way.  In addition,  although I don’t have a disclosure policy on this blog, I’ve addressed my review policy in the FAQs as well.

Obviously, the FAQs are not meant to answer all questions but hopefully after reading it, some of you won’t feel too indignant about not receiving my responses,  suggestions for blogging topics or requests for link exchanges.  My time for blogging is rather limited, so I can only say, I’m doing the best I can.

If you have other questions, pose them in the comments section and if they’re not too sensitive, I’ll try to address them.  *wink*

    Hey Sesame,
Why don’t you share with us the secret of your success? How long did you take to build up your readership and what do you think is the key to making them come back again and again?

  3. sesame says:

Haha…I did think about it but decided not to put it in. But he was actually the one who inspired me to build websites back then. Wow, I’ve been his loyal fan for ten years now!

  4. sesame says:

    Erm…I wouldn’t say success.

I think I started my beauty blog pretty early compared to some. Plus blogging consistently and with different topics may have helped increased the interest. Maybe you can tell me why you read my blog? ?

Coincidentally, I was just thinking a while ago to ask you on some of the FAQ questions you just posted ? And then Voila! I see the post ? I’ve always wondered how you do the photos/graphics ?

I am interested to hear what goes through your mind when you try out a product…the process of thinking and analyzing ? hehe ?

The first impressions are always – packaging, ease of use, smell and texture. After which, I’ll look at application of the product, if it can blend well on my skin if it’s a skin care product and what’s the texture like after application. Lastly, what sort of effects does the product have on my skin.

Usually for skin care products, it’ll take me about a month to review unless I don’t intend to use the product for long and I’ll share some first impressions.
