Bonjour! BeSave Shower Gel Tonifing Verbena

So there were a dozen of shower gels available. A number of them belonged to the natural category. All of them were retailing around the same price but I got this BeSave Shower Gel in the end. Why? Its bright and colorful packaging totally caught my sight, my attention and then my wallet too. And the fact that it’s a French brand I’ve never tried before made it more appealing to me.

Certified by Ecocert and Cosmetetique Biologique
The name BeSave is kind of strange isn’t it? Based on the description, it is said to be an organic skincare brand with products for the face, hair, body and hands formulated based on herbs and plants from the French Alps. None of the products contain parabens, synthetic perfume or colourings, GMO or silicones. Furthermore the brand is certified by Ecocert and Cosmetetique Biologique. According to what I’ve found out, the packaging which is made of recycled material, is very colorful because it has been made to represent the flowers and plants when they are in bloom.

Refreshing body wash
I love this shower gel. It’s got a nice Verbena scent and lathers up and foams pretty nicely even though it does not contain SLS. I also find it rather moisturizing as my skin feels very comfortable and not drying after each wash. It certainly makes a refreshing body wash and it’s great that it also serves to tone and moisturize.

Price and availability
I bought this from John Little at S$25+. I’ve also seen it at the Beauty Emporium @ Dempsey. I wish there were more choices because besides this Tonifing Verbena, I’ve only seen this shower gel in Relaxing Shea Tree. The 500ml bottle is a generous size and can possibly last me for two months considering I use it morning and night. I find the price rather reasonable and will most likely repurchase this again the next time.

Still using Jo Wood Everyday Organics Cleansing Body Mousse which I won from your Green Beauty Giveaway. ? It seems to be taking a very, very long time for me to use it up.
EcoBeauty last post is: DIY: Match that lemony yogurt lightening facial mask with Matcha!

How is Jo Wood doing for you? I’m surprised it has lasted you so long. I usually finish my body cleansers quite quickly.

  3. EcoBeauty says:

LOL, I hope it doesn’t give the impression that I hate to bathe….. which is half true. :p

Oh, I’m not sure, too. I guess I only use a little amount each time since it lathers a lot? I didn’t start using it right after I got the package but it’s definitely been in my bathroom for more than 2 months.

Haha…it did cross my mind. ? But still, 2 months for that size is still commendable. I think I use way too much shower gel.

I actually hate to bathe cos I find it time consuming but I enjoy the bathing process if the shower gel I use is nice.
