The Kirkland Signature by Borghese Skincare Travel Set looks rather clinical and sterile but whoosh, the products smells wonderful and works well too. I was so surprised to find that the sizes of the various products in the kit are so generous and yet the entire travel set which consist of six items only cost US$24.99.Â
So these are the six portable size items which I’ve received in the kit:
- 75ml Pure Moisturizing Cleanser
- 85g Age-Defying Skin Renewal MaskÂ
- 50ml Age-Defying Protective Moisture Lotion SPF 15
- 15ml Age-Defying Wrinkle Defense Serum
- Age-Defying Restorative Night Cream Sample Pack
- Age-Defying Protective Eye Cream Sample Pack
Of the lot, I love the Pure Moisturizing Cleanser and Age-Defying Skin Renewal Mask best. The former has a lovely smell, is creamy in texture, doesn’t lather much but it cleanses really well without stripping my skin.  I give it five out of five rating!
And the mask left my skin feeling tigther, yet refreshed and hydrated. In fact, just reading the ingredients got me quite excited.  This is a botanical firming mask with mixed fruit acid complex combining sugar cane, citrus and apple extracts plus green tea extract and vitamin E and C for anti-oxidant protection. Best part is that it is easy to use. Just apply for 10 mins over cleansed face and rinse off with lukewarm water to enjoy the refreshing benefits.
The Wrinkle Defense Serum and Moisture Lotion also smell good, exactly like the cleanser. I initially didn’t like the serum because it felt greasy on contact with my skin. But it penetrated into my skin real quickly and even after applying the Restorative Night Cream on top, my skin didn’t feel oily at all.
The only drawback is the products aren’t readily available for me. Those based in US can buy the range at costco.com. For those in Asia, you can find the range retailing in Taiwan, Japan and Korea and the websites to check out are costco.com.tw, costco.co.jp and costco.co.kr.
