Canmake Eyelash Essence: overnight growth
Tuesday, 8 July 2008Canmake Eye Lash Essence is truly amazing! I’ve only used this essence twice and I just have to rave about it. It’s by far, the best product I’ve tried which can noticeably grow my eyelashes overnight! And I got it at a steal at about S$11 during the recent GSS sale! Anyway, the normal retail price is only S$13.90, still very affordable compared to the other more expensive brands like Talika or Mavala.
Described as containing conditioning agents panthenol and lavender extract, this product helps protect your lashes throughout the day, hydrating them and providing them with greater firmness. Because it is transparent, you can also use it as a base before using an eyelash curler to give your lashes a longer-lasting curl or as a base for your mascara, increasing volume and helping in the application.
The growth on my lower lashes was the most noticeable. I was already getting longer lashes from my Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye Treatment but the Canmake Eye Lash Essence made them much longer and fuller! In fact, I had some long lashes dropping off the morning after! Simply incredible!
It’s easy to use and while it’s slightly sticky, it isn’t messy at all. All I do is apply it before bedtime, go to bed in it and get longer lashes next morning! No kidding! I’ve tried Mavala’s and Browlash’s and I have to say this is by far, the fastest eyelash growing product I’ve tested. No wonder it had many forumers raving and 14 reviewers at Makeupalley giving the product 4.4 out of 5 rating.
So if you’re in the market for a cost effective eyelash product, check out Canmake Eye Lash Essence. You may see overnight results like me, or perhaps see visible results in two weeks’ time like what the other gals have experienced.
But note that you can only find Canmake Eye Lash Essence at selected outlets. I got mine at Guardian at Suntec City. You should be able to find it at Watson’s at Bugis, Parkway Parade, Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Junction 8 and Ngee Ann City too.

I have to agree with you, I have been using Canmake eyelash essence for about 1 month now, and I can see that my lashes are longer! Especially on my lower lids.. I was using Mavala before but my lower lashes weren’t this long.
A question though..there’s no expiry date on the product, when do we discard it? I am guessing within 4 months, since Mavala’s one is about 9 months and its packaging is more “secure”.
Selina: I’m thinking it should be about the same as mascara. Within 3 - 4 months is about right.

Forgot to add, I saw results in only a few days too! Plus it’s cheaper than Mavala so I will definitely be repurchasing this.

I had read a lot about this but never got round to trying it. Maybe now I will!
I tried Mavala Double Lash. Worked to a degree while I was using it, but when I stopped, all effects vanished.
Paris: I think it’s the same with most eyelash products. The effects stop once you don’t use them cos your eyelashes will drop and the new ones won’t grow as long unless you condition them again.

read your review a couple days back so went out to buy one without double checking exactly what you talked about. Came home with the Lash & Brow Treatment instead. Sigh…
hope it works for me. I’d love to have fuller lashes!
frond: Oh geez…never mind…you can still get it again next time. Good thing it doesn’t cost too much. Hope the one you bought will work for you too!

I read the reviews with some scepticism. How can eye lashes grow overnight just like that? I decided to give it a try anyway and guess what? It actually worked!! It took a couple of weeks for me to observe an effect, more on the lashes at the outer edges. I must add that my usage had been quite inconsistent so with regular application, it may well deliver better results.
flym: Glad it worked for you! My lower lashes grew very quickly. I could see it the next day. I didn’t observe much growth with my upper lashes though. Maybe they’re already at an optimal length. I’ve been lazy too…
