My hair makeover at Backstage Hair Salon and a promo

Backstage Hair Salon My hair makeover at Backstage Hair Salon and a promo
Looks like my hair is on a roll these two weeks. First a hair consultation and now a hair makeover. Anyway, some of you may remember how I’d griped about my challenge to find a suitable hairstylist at the end of October. Well, I went for a haircut a week after writing that post but I was still not satisfied with how it had turned out. Don’t mind me but I’ve been super fussy when it comes to my hair since I was a teen. So just as I was contemplating if I should swallow my pride and return to my old hairstylist, I received an invitation to have a hair makeover at Backstage Hair Salon. After some humming and hawing at my end, I finally headed down on Sunday with a friend. But I’ll admit I was hesitant. With a name like Backstage, who is to say my hair won’t turn up looking all wayang? Wayang, for my international readers, is the Singlish equivalent of theatrical.

I was very happy to find out that a favorite online store that sells only natural and organic beauty products is now offering free international shipping. Oh yay! It’s been awhile since I’ve shopped there. Upon checking, I realized that they’ve now introduced lots more brands and naturally thought of writing something about them. But on second thoughts, I decided to cover more than just that store and bring you instead, five online stores that I’ll recommend for a variety of natural and organic beauty buys.

Why I love shopping at iHerb and what I usually buy

iHerb Natural Beauty Products Why I love shopping at iHerb and what I usually buy
Hihi! As promised on my Facebook page, this is a post to show you what I’ve been getting from iHerb.com. Sure I’ve been getting lots of beauty products from there but I am also buying lots of other items given that I have over 35,000 choices! In fact, I have been shopping at iHerb at least once a month since end of last year and I never run out of things to buy. If it’s not replenishing my stock, it is checking out new stuff that are regularly brought in. How many of you understand that it’s really hard to resist the low prices, wide choices and occasional free shipping promo? (^O^)

Visolift: facial that lifts your skin & your spirits

Visoanska’s Visolift Facial Visolift: facial that lifts your skin & your spirits
My last facial was January last year. Since then, I’ve not had any, not even when I was offered complimentary sessions. Somehow, I didn’t feel motivated to have my face pampered and I thought I would never go for one again until a recent invite for the Visoanska’s Visolift Facial changed my mind. So what inspired me? Well, the idea of a cult treatment dedicated to firming up the skin via a series of massages sounded pretty enticing. I also had a good impression of Sccube The Apothecary when I last had a facial there back in 2010.
