I had my wisdom tooth extracted in the early part of this year. It was a procedure I’ve postponed again and yet again. But I finally garnered sufficient courage to get rid of it, thinking it’ll put a stop to all the pain and inconveniences I was experiencing. Well, it did but it brought on another set of problem—the left side of my face especially near my left jaw does not look like how it was before! Under certain lightings, I actually look like I have a sagging jowl. (T_T)
How is it I’ve never checked out Weleda? Well, I don’t know. I should have because I’m quite impressed with the first product I’ve purchased from the brand—the Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream. In fact, I consider it on par with some of the best non-natural hand creams I’ve tried. And though I don’t really like metallic tubes because of how they warp after awhile, I am somehow very attracted to the packaging of this one. The gorgeous red color must have won my heart hands down!
Here’s an insight into my makeup habit: I can use a lipstick like forever. Which means, I rarely buy new ones. I’m quite contented with using the same color every day. Is that boring? I suppose but I don’t really care. I used to buy and own more of them but over the years, I’ve lost interest in lipsticks. I realized that they’re quite a waste of money for me because I usually just end up using the one I like and then leaving the rest to collect dust. Anyway, I told you all of that so you’ll not be too surprised when I tell you that this Ecco Bella FlowerColor Lipstick in Pink Rose is the first lipstick I’ve bought this year.
Woo hoo! I can finally put both my arms up in the air to cheer without embarrassment even though I’m using a natural deodorant. How about that? Finally, I’ve found a natural deodorant that is 100% effective. This Real Purity Deodorant in holistic formula truly works. I can wear it for hours and not smell one bit funky at the end of the day. I kid you not! I’m totally pleased with its performance. YAY! FINALLY!
As you can probably tell, I’m developing a penchant for black soap. First it was Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Black Soap and now, it’s the Nubian Heritage African Black Soap Wash. I was seriously about to repurchase the one from Dr. Woods until I saw that this one is not described as a household cleanser and I don’t have to share it with my floor. I suppose going by that fact alone, it’ll very likely smell better than Dr. Woods?
