While I use my lips a lot, I don’t really take special care of them. Apart from some occasional scrubbing, daily applying of lip balm and lipstick, I don’t use anything else on my lips. Heck, I don’t even use a lip product with SPF! So the last thing I’d expected to receive in my mail was this Marie Veronique Organics Pacific Lip Treatment, a brand new product just launched barely a week ago. To be honest, it didn’t excite me much because like I said, lip care is really not on my agenda. But I was curious anyway and wanted to see for myself if a natural formulation can actually plump up my lips.
Despite being a skin care junkie, I don’t use too many facial sheet masks because I’d found the whole application rather time consuming. But increasingly, I am more open to trying them again, because they’re truly convenient when it comes to giving my skin a quick hydration boost. Unfortunately, I haven’t come across an all-natural facial sheet mask but I’m good when they are made without parabens, alcohol, silicones, fragrance and artificial color—like the Amask Gold & Stem Cells Facial Mask, an anti-aging product formulated with gold, Swiss apple stem cells and Ecocert certified herbal extracts.
Some girls will probably squeal with delight at the sight of these cute egg-shaped Smooth Sphere Lip Balms from Evolution of Smooth or EOS in short. I think they’re cute and make great eye candies. They’ve been around for a few years now and come in eight natural flavors—Blueberry Acai, Pomegranate Raspberry, Summer Fruit, Sweet Mint, Honeysuckle Honeydew, Strawberry Sorbet, Medicated Tangerine and Lemon Drop with SPF 15.
Even though I like the idea of using 100% soft organic facial cotton on my skin, I don’t use a lot of them for three reasons. Reason one is because they don’t come cheap. Reason two is because the only brand I know that sells organic cotton rounds here is a brand I’ve blacklisted. And reason three is because I don’t use a lot of cotton rounds or puffs to begin with. But thanks to iHerb, I may soon increase my consumption of cotton rounds because I’ve found some great organic cotton rounds from the brand Maxim.
