Going green is fast becoming a lifestyle for me. You might have noticed that I’ve even changed my header to reflect that. But besides beauty products, I’ve also been using more cleaner and greener household products to battle the dirt and grime at home. It all started with the Method All-Purpose Surface Cleaner—a product I’d used, liked and then re-purchased. I found the brand to be cheaper at iHerb.com and began buying other products like the dish soap cleanser and hand wash. Soon, one thing led to another and I was ordering other brands of earth friendly household products.

It seems like facial has become a once-a-year pilgrimage for me and I can’t exert an ounce of energy to go for more than one. Even if I end up going to one, I have to garner lots of motivation just to head to the salon. Like the latest one that I went to at Pure Tincture Boutique—I think the conversation took place for more than a year before I finally set foot at the salon about three weeks ago. And the reason I finally said yes was because I learned that the products used in the organic facial are from Pai Skincare.
I experienced an eyebrow disaster using this Barbara Carranza Eyebrow Tweezer. Fortunately, it was remediable or I would have to hibernate at home till my eyebrow grows out. Well, what had happened was that I had over tweezed one side of my eyebrows in my enthusiasm. As a result, one side is now a few centimeters short of the normal length! Does that mean that this tweezer is a flop? Well no…because the disaster was not the fault of the tweezer but the person who handled the tweezer!
