My eyelashes are relatively long, but over the years they seem to be not so densely packed as I remembered them to be as compared to when I was younger. I’m not sure if I’m just being insecure and paranoid, but it seems that as I got older in age, my eyelash drops easily. This happens when I wash my face or remove my eye makeup. I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of me being too rough when washing my face, because I tend to be that. But I’ve also heard complaints of other people’s eyelashes dropping due to certain eye cosmetics they’ve been using.
The second batch of the VivaBella Green Beauty Box Giveaway is here and this time, we have five of the Grapefruit blush from Zuii Organic worth nearly S$200. Zuii Organic is a line of organic cosmetics certified by The Organic Food Chain that are made in Australia, produced from the petals and buds of certified organic flowers such as rose, chamomile and jasmine. In addition, the range is preservative free and contains no talc, no synthetics, no petrochemicals, no parabens, no genetically modified ingredients and are not tested on animals. The brand has also recently received their Halal certification.
Jane Iredale is probably one of the earliest, if not the earliest cosmetic company to introduce a full line of makeup based on minerals. I read a lot about their products back when mineral makeup was the rage but the funny thing is, I never got to try them until now. If I recall correctly, I wasn’t too keen on some of the ingredients I saw and so I basically gave the products a miss back then.
I picked these makeup products from UNE Natural Beauty while shopping at Lovelula recently. They’re a new makeup label boasting certified green credentials and are backed by the knowledge and expertise of French cosmetics brand Bourjois. Products from UNE are made from 98 to 100 per cent natural ingredients approved by ECOCERT. Because I have no idea if the new range will work well, I only bought their foundation, concealer and lip balm.
